Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and optimize Azure-based infrastructure solutions (IaaS, PaaS, networking, identity, storage)
Lead cloud initiatives, including migration of appropriate workloads to Azure
Develop scalable architectures aligned with industry best practices and organizational standards
Manage and administer Azure subscriptions, resource groups, virtual networks, and governance structures
Oversee hybrid connectivity solutions such as VPN, ExpressRoute, Azure Arc, and identity federation
Ensure reliability, performance, and availability of critical cloud services
Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automated testing, reducing manual errors and accelerating release cycles
Collaborating with DevOps and application teams involves building, deploying, and maintaining cloud environment
Implement and enforce Azure security best practices, including web application firewall, network segmentation, identity management, and least privilege access
Utilize Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and third-party tools to ensure proactive system health
Conduct cost optimization reviews and implement cost-control strategies
Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues across cloud and on-prem environments
Work cross-functionally with infrastructure, application, networking, and security teams
Participate in on-call rotations and incident management processes as needed
Qualification
Required
5–8+ years of experience in cloud, infrastructure, or systems engineering roles
Experience with DevOps tooling (GitHub, Azure DevOps)
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration
Strong experience supporting hybrid cloud/on‑premises environments
Solid understanding of Azure networking: VNets, NSGs, routing, load balancers, firewalls, ExpressRoute, and VPN gateways
Strong knowledge of Azure Active Directory / Entra ID, role-based access control (RBAC), conditional access, and identity governance
Hands‑on experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex cloud and hybrid infrastructure issues
Excellent documentation, communication, and collaboration skills
Knowledge of ITIL processes and change management frameworks
Experience with identity and access management (IAM) systems
Preferred
Azure certifications (AZ‑104, AZ‑305, AZ‑700, AZ‑900, or equivalent)
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ‑104)
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ‑305)
Cisco CCNA / CCNP
ITIL Certification
