Responsibilities

Responsible for application platforms (internal and client facing) including:
Deployment of new/modified functionality to front-end, mid-office and TTT business application platforms
Project Manage profile and mid-office development projects
Required to understand “big-picture” and booking workflows to properly plan, test and deploy software solutions
Platforms include: Microsoft, Apollo/Sabre GDS, GDSX mid office, Online booking tools, Backend SQL Databases, FTP & Tech Ticket System
Manage vendor responsibilities/costs associated with software/hardware projects
Respond to application and hardware support tickets
Required to understand “big-picture” to support all TTT business platform issues
24 x 7 availability
Review weekly ticket list with associates to provide consultation
Investigate new technology solutions

Required

Bachelor's degree
3 -5 years experience in information technology or related field
Thorough Knowledge Of The Following Platforms: GDS: Apollo, Sabre, GDSX Compete
Microsoft Windows/Office/SQL Server
Data Communication Protocols: FTP, Web Services, VoIP
Development: .NET/Java/SQL Exposure, MS Access, SabreScript, Pseudo Code (GDSX)
Virtual Environments: VMware, Citrix
Hardware: PC's, routers, firewalls, printers, cabling, cell phones
Attentive to details
Ability to manage development requirements and technical projects
Ability to identify and lead project teams
Ability to communicate technical requirements to non-technical staff
Ability to properly respond and trouble-shoot data and booking issues
Ability to create and maintain vendor relationships
Understand big picture of organization
Continuously research technology and determine how it fits long term goals
