Responsibilities
Inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of aircraft in accordance with FARs, manufacturer's specifications and Company procedures, as assigned by lead mechanic or Shop Supervisor
Install Garmin G5000 avionics systems/Gogo Wifi systems/Smartsky Wifi systems/Starlink Wifi systems in various aircraft types according to manufacturer specifications and flyExclusive standards and Perform pre-installation testing and verification to ensure all components are functioning properly
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to Garmin G5000 avionics/Gogo Wifi/Smartsky Wifi /Starlink Wifi system installations
Conduct post-installation inspections and tests to ensure systems are operational and meet all regulatory and safety requirements
Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure seamless integration of the Garmin G5000 avionics/Gogo Wifi /Smartsky Wifi /Starlink Wifi systems with other aircraft systems
Maintain aircraft and maintenance facility in clean, organized and professional manner with particular attention to safety
Line duties and road trips, as required
Complete and expedite all documentation as directed by maintenance management
Test avionics equipment under simulated or actual operating conditions to determine performance and airworthiness
Responsible for safeguarding and maintaining Company assets
Maintain all paperwork in accordance with Company Maintenance Policies and Procedures
Maintain facilities and equipment to the highest state of readiness and reliability
Maintain the highest level of personal training and readiness to perform assigned tasks
Adhere to Company policy and procedure
Other duties, as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be 18 years or older
Demonstrated experience with Starlink installations and integrations is required and will be a primary consideration in candidate selection
Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
Extensive knowledge of aircraft mechanical systems and interactions
Thorough knowledge of current FAA regulations, IPM, and ATA codes
Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States without sponsorship
Candidates must successfully complete a comprehensive background check prior to employment. This includes verification of previous employment, education, criminal history, and any other relevant information necessary to determine the suitability for the position
This position is classified as a Safety-Sensitive role under Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and is subject to pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with FAA guidelines
Preferred
Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant License preferred
7-10 years of experience performing hands-on Aircraft Maintenance
Prior experience with Corridor
Candidates with Business Corporate Jet experience will be given priority
