IT System Administrator – SOC/NOC Support

Responsibilities
Administer and maintain SOC/NOC tools, such as SIEM, SOAR, and network monitoring systems
Monitor and optimize system performance, resource utilization, and tool configurations
Ensure proper integration and functionality of SOC/NOC tools
Implement security controls, apply system updates, and conduct regular patching
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues related to NOC/SOC operations
Develop and maintain scripts for automation and system management
Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 2 years of IT System Administration experience supporting one or more of the following: Networking, Linux, Cloud, Windows, or Microsoft platforms
Experience administering SOC and/or NOC tools (e.g., SIEM, SOAR, or network monitoring tools)
Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001)
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Preferred
Advanced certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or relevant vendor certifications)
Experience with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Ansible, Puppet)
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
