Responsibilities
Design and develop end-to-end Appian BPM applications and workflows
Translate business requirements into scalable Appian solutions
Build and maintain Appian objects including process models, interfaces, records, integrations, and rules
Develop reusable components and adhere to Appian best practices
Integrate Appian applications with external systems via APIs/web services
Optimize performance and troubleshoot production issues
Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews
Mentor junior developers and enforce coding standards
Support deployment activities and CI/CD processes
Collaborate with business stakeholders, QA teams, and architects
Qualification
Required
10+ years of hands-on Appian development experience
Strong understanding of Appian architecture and best practices
Expertise in process modeling, SAIL interfaces, records, and integrations
Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and system integrations
Knowledge of relational databases and SQL
Familiarity with version control and deployment processes
Strong debugging and performance tuning skills
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred
Appian Certified Senior Developer or Lead Developer
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
Domain experience in finance, healthcare, or enterprise systems
