Software Engineer II

Responsibilities
Perform software development as part of a highly skilled cross-discipline engineering team
Provide direct support of program efforts and proposal activities
Develop high performance Linux software in C++ and/or Java using software and hardware simulators
Integrate software into larger systems in engineering and test labs
This 1st shift role will be 100% on-site and based in Westford, MA
Qualification
Required
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience
Experience with Linux C++ and/or Java development with a focus on application scalability and performance
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Preferred
BS Degree in Software Engineering or a related major is HIGHLY PREFERRED
Algorithm development and/or implementation (imaging, navigation, communication, etc.)
Linux networking or multithreaded application development
Cybersecurity experience (PKI, secure boot, Linux hardening, etc.)
Familiarity with imaging systems, control systems, navigation, or ISR
