Responsibilities

Assist with the day-to-day management of World Vision’s vibrant social channels, engaging directly with our diverse audience
Create compelling content and social media assets that amplify our impactful marketing campaigns and inspire action
Track social media engagement metrics to uncover top-performing ideas and campaigns, paving the way for scalable impact
Optimize evergreen social media content that effectively communicates World Vision's mission across different channels and to various audiences

Required

At least 18 years of age
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (e.g., U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or F-1 student visa holder with valid work authorization) and possess a valid U.S. Social Security Number
Able to commit to at least 24 hours per week for the entire internship period: 1 June – 28 August 2026
Current student or recent graduate from an undergraduate/graduate programme (within 2 years)
Adhere to World Vision International's Christian Statement of Faith
Willingness to use own electronic devices for internship purposes, and disposition to let WVI install endpoint security software in those devices
Social Media Passion: You enjoy spending time on social media across multiple platforms
Trend Spotting and Content Creation: You are quick and creative in jumping on social media trends and adapting to their ever-changing landscape
Communication Skills: You have experience in writing and editing in English
Visual Storytelling: You are well-versed in graphic design, photography, and video creation
Responsibility and Enthusiasm: You are responsible, responsive, and enthusiastic about using your God-given talents to influence the world positively
Commitment to our Mission: You have a demonstrated commitment to and alignment with the goals, mission, and vision of World Vision, embodying its values in all aspects of your work

Preferred

Appropriate Fields of Study/Majors: Journalism, Public Relations, English, Photography, Videography, Graphic Design, or related field
