Operations Coordinator
CSafe is seeking an Operations Coordinator to support and oversee outsourced operations across U.S.-based third-party logistics partners and internal sites. This role is critical to ensuring smooth day-to-day execution of production, inventory, and distribution activities while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and on-time delivery.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and monitor daily production, warehousing, and distribution activities across assigned 3PL partners and internal sites
Ensure compliance with CSafe SOPs, quality standards, service-level agreements, and safety requirements
Act as the primary operational point of contact for designated 3PLs and escalate issues as needed
Communicate production priorities and monitor work orders to meet customer ship dates and inventory targets
Monitor available capacity and labor plans, including overtime or temporary staffing needs
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of production and quality reporting within systems
Establish outbound delivery priorities and schedules in coordination with Logistics and Customer Service
Monitor adherence to delivery schedules, terms, and documentation accuracy
Oversee cycle count processes, inventory reconciliations, and discrepancy resolution
Monitor inventory levels to align with forecasts, safety stock requirements, and commercial priorities
Coordinate disposition of obsolete, excess, or scrap inventory with 3PL partners
Maintain daily production, logistics, and inventory tracking for assigned 3PLs
Prepare operational performance reports and quarterly 3PL evaluations
Proactively identify orders at risk and communicate status to internal stakeholders
Review and approve 3PL invoices for accuracy and compliance with contracted services
Monitor costs and support adherence to approved budgets
Coordinate SOP training for 3PL personnel supporting CSafe operations
Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and incident-reporting requirements
Support preventive maintenance and cleaning of CSafe-owned equipment at 3PL sites
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED equivalent
3+ years of experience in logistics, manufacturing operations, supply chain, or 3PL coordination
Basic understanding of production planning, inventory control, and outbound logistics processes
Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills in English
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or related field
Experience working directly with third-party logistics providers, contract manufacturers, or outsourced operations
Experience supporting distribution centers or light manufacturing/assembly environments
Proficiency with ERP systems and operational reporting (inventory, work orders, shipments)
Familiarity with OTIF metrics, cycle counting, and continuous improvement methodologies
Experience reviewing logistics or 3PL invoices and resolving discrepancies
