This role involves planning, coordinating, budgeting, and supervising grading and paving operations to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Responsibilities
Manage multiple commercial grading and paving projects simultaneously
Oversee project lifecycle including estimating support, planning, scheduling, execution, and project closeout
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and ensure milestones are met
Monitor project costs, track budgets, and manage change orders
Conduct site visits to ensure quality, productivity, and compliance with specifications
Review plans, specifications, contracts, and geotechnical reports
Coordinate with estimators during bid handoff and preconstruction meetings
Identify project risks, site constraints, and constructability concerns
Procure materials, equipment, and subcontractors
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors
Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication among stakeholders
Coordinate field crews, superintendents, and subcontractors to ensure efficient workflow
Resolve project issues and maintain strong client relationships
Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and company safety policies
Promote a strong safety culture on all job sites
Maintain compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements
Track project progress, daily reports, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
Prepare regular status updates for leadership and clients
Support project billing and closeout documentation
Qualification
Required
Strong knowledge of earthwork, site development, asphalt paving, and subcontractor coordination
Experience in managing multiple commercial grading and paving projects simultaneously
Ability to oversee project lifecycle including estimating support, planning, scheduling, execution, and project closeout
Experience in developing and maintaining detailed project schedules and ensuring milestones are met
Ability to monitor project costs, track budgets, and manage change orders
Experience conducting site visits to ensure quality, productivity, and compliance with specifications
Ability to review plans, specifications, contracts, and geotechnical reports
Experience coordinating with estimators during bid handoff and preconstruction meetings
