Responsibilities
Manage a cross-functional team throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that projects are delivered successfully
Work with team members to remove impediments to delivery, including but not limited to identifying then eliminating or mitigating risks to delivery
Identify client needs and requirements that can be translated into discrete tasks and milestones, managing against contracted scope
Chart and maintain a project plan, identifying and assigning project tasks and milestones to the project development team
Plan appropriate client and internal communication methods, providing ongoing status updates, including health status, risks, schedule, staffing needs, etc
Ensure quality control for all project deliverables and activities, working with architects and developers to coordinate internal review and refinement of requirements
Oversee and effectively communicate project needs to Decisions and clients' senior leadership, ensuring alignment on expectations with delivery, timeline, and budget
Effectively communicate internal and external blockers related to clients' projects to relevant departments within Decisions
Ensure that Decisions internal PMIS reflect current project status and progression, including requirements documentation, issues/risks, communication, and project health
Qualification
Required
Relevant project management certifications in traditional and agile project management (Project Management Professional, Certified Scrum Master or Professional Scrum Master, or equivalent experience)
Can comfortably switch between different project management approaches as well as manage variety of engagements as well as deliver on different types of contracts
Minimum of 2 years of technical project management experience
Demonstrated application of and proven success with different project management methodologies and frameworks, management tools, analysis, and research
Experience with creating an effective team environment, building strong relationships, negotiation, problem-solving, conflict resolution, managing resources in a matrix environment, communicating and influencing effectively at all organizational levels
Experience coaching project team members
Preferred
Prior experience in the healthcare and/or financial services industries implementing enterprise software solutions
At least 1 year of experience within an agile SDLC environment
Experience with PaaS/SaaS, cloud, and on-prem infrastructure
Experience with services-based contracts
Project Management certification (PMP) a plus
