Responsibilities
Lead design & development of IP and console subsystems
Drive CAD, packaging, DFMEA, PFMEA, and concept evaluations
Ensure manufacturing feasibility (injection molding, vibration welding, foam-in-place, wrapping, etc.)
Collaborate across Thermal, Electrical, Body, Chassis, Restraints, Creative Design, Purchasing & suppliers
Balance cost, mass, complexity & timing while driving innovation
Lead issue resolution, change management & launch execution
Apply benchmarking, risk assessment & continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
8–10 years' experience in automotive interiors (OEM or cockpit supplier)
Strong IP / console design & development background
Experience leading projects & improving processes
Strong engineering fundamentals and DFMEA creation
Ownership mindset, urgency, curiosity, and ability to challenge assumptions
Proficient with CAD tools (VisMockup, NX/UG, etc.) and MS Office/Project
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field
Preferred
PMP or PMI certification
Experience with change management
