Responsibilities
Develop and run system‑level simulations for electric drive and electrified machine platforms using Matlab
Translate real‑world operating/load conditions into drive cycle simulations
Perform energy, thermal, and performance assessments impacting design decisions
Correlate simulation results with hardware and product development teams
Build simulation libraries and improve internal modeling accuracy through correlation
Support new product rollout by validating simulation predictions against measured behavior
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience for Level 5
Master's Degree is a strong advantage; candidates with a Master's may be considered with ~6+ years
Simulation Expertise
Strong fundamentals in electrical engineering and physics
Ability to use simulation tools correctly and understand underlying assumptions
Analytical & Detail‑Oriented Mindset
Identify issues through deep technical analysis
Avoid 'black‑box' use of simulation tools
Develop and run system‑level simulations for electric drive and electrified machine platforms using Matlab
Translate real‑world operating/load conditions into drive cycle simulations
Perform energy, thermal, and performance assessments impacting design decisions
Correlate simulation results with hardware and product development teams
