Business Development Sales Representative

Responsibilities
Improves sales relationships by providing service and support to assigned partner offices to achieve sales goals
Utilizes sales and renewal strategies for assigned distributors within the enterprise
Supports partners with marketing materials, training, and other sales closing support to attract and retain business
Implements comprehensive product and business climate knowledge to educate about product development, market research, and sales tactics
Mentor's fellow sales representatives with pre-sale service presentations and broker meetings
Monitors quote activities and reviews large case submissions
Aids in providing resolutions with matters of service and underwriting issues
Upholds key initiatives and special projects that support department and enterprise plans
Executes sales goals while operating in alignment with department and enterprise processes and objectives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
Less than 2 years of related experience required
State Health/Life License required or must obtain within 60 days of employment if not currently held
This position requires 30-40% travel
Preferred
2+ direct sales experience preferred
