Development Communications Manager
New York Public Radio is seeking a Development Communications Manager to create and execute engaging, mission-driven fundraising communications. This role is essential for strengthening relationships with members and donors while collaborating with various content teams to enhance their overall experience.

Responsibilities
Assist in writing and execution of development email campaigns
Work with the team to create the annual report, quarterly impact reports, development board reports, event scripting, program summaries, presentation templates, and thematic packaging
Manage cross-departmental content meetings to ensure the development team is receiving up-to-date information from content creators across the organization
Maintain a repository of meeting notes, the language bank, and archived campaigns on Confluence for the Development team to access
Implement targeted email fundraising campaigns to support Philanthropy goals, including acquisition, renewal, upgrades, and special appeals
Manage the end-to-end execution of email campaigns, including content creation, audience segmentation, A/B testing, scheduling, and deployment
Monitor and analyze the performance of development communications, using data insights to optimize results and drive revenue growth
Collaborate with the Philanthropy and Membership teams to align communications with department goals
Serve as part of the Development Operations team, working together to meet team-wide goals
Ensure unified messaging across Development by gathering resources from external vendors and internal teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
1-3 years of experience in communications, marketing, fundraising or a related field
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a talent for crafting engaging and persuasive messaging
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate and resolve complex situations
Passion for public media and a commitment to NYPR's mission and values
