Bayforce is seeking a senior, hands-on Snowflake Administrator / DBA to provide technical and administrative support for enterprise Snowflake systems and applications. This role involves designing, securing, and supporting scalable Snowflake-based solutions in a highly regulated environment, while collaborating with internal and external teams.

Responsibilities

Administer and support Snowflake accounts (account setup, configuration, and maintenance)

Design and support replication for business continuity and disaster recovery

Implement and manage data sharing (inbound and outbound)

Design and maintain role-based access control (RBAC) to secure enterprise data

Monitor and optimize cost and performance across Snowflake environments

Support production application database changes and troubleshooting

Partner with application teams on Snowflake-based solutions

Provide first-level Linux administration support for Snowflake application servers

Qualification

Required

10+ years of experience as a DBA or database administrator

5+ years of hands-on Snowflake administration

Strong understanding of cloud fundamentals

Experience building in Azure, including: Private DNS Zones, Blob Storage (storage tiers), Private Endpoints / Private Link (Snowflake)

Strong troubleshooting and operational support skills

Preferred

Experience in banking or other highly regulated environments is a plus
