Tokyo Electron US is seeking an experienced corporate global mobility professional to focus on expat management and relocation. The Global Mobility Specialist III will support immigration global mobility matters for US hires and manage the administration of immigration records for expat and local hires requiring immigration sponsorship relocation.

Responsibilities

Acts as an immigration global mobility SME and coordinates HR/Global Mobility activities for expatriate and inpatriate employee population with a high concentration of immigration processes. expat management
Ownership of all employee files that are part of the global mobility program (assignments or one way moves) through the entire mobility life cycle
Consults with expatriate employees/managers and leads various global mobility processes as needed within the global mobility team
Advises various US operating companies (business leaders & HR peers) regarding application of expatriate programs, including immigration requirements/compliance, employment conditions, taxation implications, and ensuring compliance with client’s worldwide guidelines and local employment regulations
Practices a sense of collaboration, building strong relationships within the team, and with internal and external stakeholders
Partners with immigration law firm, RMC, and tax provider to ensure compliance with Company policy to recommend and secure the proper visa proper documentation and processes for inpatriates, local hires and business travelers
Responsible for organization of global mobility data management & maintenance through client’s databases as well as internal HR databases
Leads various Global Mobility projects related to immigration compliance
Oversees Immigration visa global mobility assignments and One Way relocation processes, coordination & documentation
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, international business or in a related field. In lieu of education, 4 additional years of corporate global mobility experience
5+ years of experience working in an in-house global mobility program that includes expatriate management (corporate immigration program)
Demonstrated ability to manage global mobility lifecycle processes to include cost estimates, consultations to management and potential relocating employees, mobility vendor management and documentation
Excellent time management and ability to prioritize workload, proficient in time management, be self-directed, and have excellent attention to detail
Experience in US immigration & business travel visas (a plus)
Familiarity within international work & business visas (experience with global visas/work permits from non-US countries)
4+ years of experience in immigration employee global mobility data management with mobility platforms (Equus preferred) is a plus
4+ years of experience managing immigration outside counsel global mobility vendors (immigration firm vendor, tax firm, and RMC) is a plus
English language proficiency; Japanese bilingual a plus
Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook)
Must have excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills and the ability to provide consultations to employees and managers of all levels
Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including data analysis abilities
Advance knowledge of geography & geopolitical developments relating to global immigration mobility
Advanced International exposure and a highly developed sensitivity and cultural awareness
Ability to exercise and maintain a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism
Proven ability to build business relationships throughout an organization
