Responsibilities

Serve as the primary reporting liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams
Conduct requirements gathering with Finance, Supply Chain, HR, Projects, and executive leadership
Translate business needs into clear technical specifications
Present reporting solutions and dashboard demos to stakeholders at all levels
Provide responsive, user-friendly support for reporting questions/issues
Manage reporting request intake, timelines, and stakeholder expectations
Design and develop complex BIP reports across Fusion modules (Financials, SCM, HCM, Projects)
Create data models using SQL against Fusion tables, views, and Public View Objects (PVOs)
Build professional templates (RTF, Excel, PDF, eText)
Configure bursting, scheduling, and security for multi-org environments
Troubleshoot performance, data quality, and formatting issues
Build OTBI analyses and dashboards using seeded subject areas
Develop executive dashboards with KPIs, visualizations, and drill-downs
Train business users on self-service analysis and dashboard customization
Optimize OTBI performance through efficient design and filtering
Write expert-level SQL (joins, subqueries, CTEs, analytic functions, date logic) across Fusion data structures
Navigate multi-org, multi-ledger, and multi-book environments
Create efficient cross-module joins (e.g., Financials ? Projects, AP ? PO)
Work with flexfields (DFF/EFF/KFF) and date-effective tables
Conduct workshops on BIP, OTBI, Smart View, and Infolets
Create clear documentation with screenshots and step-by-step guides
Host office hours for reporting Q&A and best practices
Build self-service capabilities that empower business users
Manage BIP/OTBI catalog structure, permissions, and security
Administer ESS jobs for scheduled reporting
Tune slow-running reports (SQL/data model/execution parameters)
Customize seeded reports while maintaining upgrade compatibility
Maintain documentation for custom reports (purpose, data sources, calculations, security)
Build and maintain a reporting catalog/inventory
Create troubleshooting guides and knowledge base articles
Establish standards for naming conventions, design, and governance

Required

Exceptional verbal and written communication, as this is a customer-facing role
Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Experience presenting to executive leadership and conducting training sessions
Strong customer-service mindset; able to manage expectations diplomatically
5+ years of hands-on Oracle Fusion ERP embedded reporting experience
Advanced BIP: data models, RTF/Excel templates, scheduling, security, catalog management
Strong OTBI: analysis creation, dashboards, subject areas, performance optimization
Expert SQL: complex joins, CTEs, analytic functions (LAG/LEAD/ROW_NUMBER), date arithmetic
Deep knowledge of Fusion data models across Financials, SCM, HCM, and Projects
Working knowledge of XML/XSL-FO, PL/SQL basics, and Excel formulas
Understanding of business processes: P2P, O2C, manufacturing, project accounting, HCM/payroll
Experience partnering with Finance, Supply Chain, and HR teams on reporting requirements
Familiarity with regulatory and compliance reporting needs

Preferred

Oracle Cloud Reporting Specialist certification
Experience across multiple Fusion modules (Financial + SCM and/or HCM)
Knowledge of Fusion security model and quarterly update cycles
Exposure to data migration, FBDI templates, and Fusion Application Composer
Background in manufacturing, distribution, or complex multi-org environments
Prior Oracle E-Business Suite reporting experience (transition to Fusion)
