Responsibilities
Assists the Chemist with experiments related to compounds
Gathers materials necessary for research and development techniques
Conducts reporting to ensure process control and promotes continuous improvement
Assists in the development of new products and collaborates with the production leadership team to maintain quality standards for existing chemical products through consistent quality control inspections
Conducts at least four daily inspections of finished goods and documents findings on an inspection sheet
Collaborates with the site Environmental, Health, and Safety team to ensure compliance and facilitate improvements
Assists in maintaining adherence to current state and federal EPA and NSF registrations as required
Organizes and stores all quality control retain samples in designated storage areas
Assists in creating and documenting standard operating procedures for plant operational processes
Assists plant operations with reporting as needed
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma/GED
3 – 5 years of experience in Industrial Manufacturing and/or Quality Control
Proficient in utilizing computer software, particularly Microsoft Office Suite
Strong leadership skills and the ability to provide clear direction to all levels of employees
Ability to lead environmental, health, and safety initiatives across the facility
Experience working in a fast paced and high-volume work environment
Proactive “self-starter” with a strong attention to detail and time management skills
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
