Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance tasks such as HVAC system checks, plumbing repairs, and electrical inspections to ensure optimal functionality
Conduct regular inspections of club facilities to identify maintenance needs and address them promptly
Respond to maintenance requests from staff and members in a timely manner, prioritizing urgent issues
Coordinate with external contractors for specialized maintenance or repair projects
Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for maintenance activities
Monitor and maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the club premises
Implement preventive maintenance measures to prolong the lifespan of club facilities and equipment
Assist in the development and implementation of energy-saving initiatives to promote sustainability
Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, materials used, and costs incurred
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and others

Required

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in facility maintenance preferred
Proven experience in facility maintenance, preferably in a similar setting such as a resort, country club, or hospitality industry
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance practices
Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and perform repairs efficiently
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with staff, members, and external contractors
Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual tasks and lift heavy objects

Preferred

Technical certification or vocational training in facility maintenance
