Responsibilities
Support Launch Vehicle Processing of the Artemis Launch Vehicles at Kennedy Space Center
Perform flight hardware assembly operations, and testing and validations of flight and ground systems
Work to detailed instructions and schematics to perform work in all aspects of flight hardware
Participate in training requirements to obtain all necessary certifications to perform assembly work
Qualification
Required
The candidate must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
At least one year of related experience (mechanical or electrical) or equivalent technical training
Must be able to follow work instructions, interpret engineer drawing and follow stringent work area rules and safety protocols
Excellent communication skills are required
Must demonstrate moderate level of proficiency in mechanical or electrical technical operations
Experience in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Must be able to pass SCAPE physical and maintain a security clearance
Must be able to work Weekends and Off-Shifts, if required
Must be able to accurately communicate ideas in writing and verbal communication
Must be able to travel to support position requirements
Must comply with all 'drug free workplace' requirements as mandated by directives issued by the appropriate federal contracting officer and the company
Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that fosters good relations with customers, clients, co-workers, and management
