Assistant Director - Jack Ryan Residence
Bowery Residents' Committee is dedicated to helping New Yorkers experiencing homelessness reclaim their lives by providing essential services. The Assistant Director will assist the Program Director in managing day-to-day operations, oversee various departments, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide on-call services.

Responsibilities
Assists Program Director in management of day-to-day operation of facility and in development and implementation of program design, goals and services
Provides 24-hour phone/email on-call services
Oversees program in Program Director’s absence
Oversees Case Management, Housing, Aftercare, and Health departments
Supervises Clinical Coordinators and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners
Ensures compliance with funding and regulatory mandates
Provides emergency first aid/CPR assistance when needed
Related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Significant experience in managing residential facilities and staff supervision
Experience in fields of mental health and substance abuse
Demonstrable writing, communication, leadership, and team building skills
Computer proficiency
Ability to work in a high stress/high volume environment
Availability to work overtime when needed
CPR training certification or willingness to take training class in CPR
Preferred
Master-level degree in psychology or social work
LCSW/SIFI
Experience working with homeless population
