Senior Program Manager - Suicide Prevention in Health Systems
OU Health Stephenson Cancer Center is seeking a Senior Program Manager for their Healthcare Initiatives team at the national Suicide Prevention Resource Center. The role involves overseeing program administration, developing training and resources, and enhancing clinical practices to improve suicide care and prevention outcomes across health systems.

Responsibilities
Directs program administration, overseeing all consulting scopes of work, health care related grant deliverables, and continuous quality improvement efforts
Monitors and manages project scopes, timelines, evaluations, and creation of long-range initiative objectives and workplans
Serves on various external committees representing SPRC at relevant meetings and conferences, interfacing regularly with the public, contractors, and federal partners
Ensures the evaluation of programs and trainings developed by the HCI Team
Directs and plans for needs assessment(s) of health and behavioral health providers and systems, identifying and addressing gaps
Develops HCI Team goals and objectives to support annual work plans
Oversees project management and development of training, courses, publications, and resources designed to reach health and behavioral health provider systems
Provides Team supervision while developing HCI team goals and objectives to support annual grant workplans
Performs various duties as needed and assigned by SPRC leadership, to successfully execute grant deliverable
Qualification
Required
Master's degree
36 months of program administration or related experience
Able to communicate professionally and effectively, and build rapport quickly with colleagues, service recipients, providers and health system leadership
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Highly organized and able to handle multiple overlapping projects and deadlines
Experienced in reviewing and interpreting health and behavioral health system policies, as well as State and Federal regulations
Able to effectively contribute to evaluation plans for training and publication projects and programs and produce comprehensive reports
Able to assess health and behavioral health workforce development needs and identify appropriate resources and trainings
Able to supervise staff and communicate directions and expectations effectively
Strong initiative to solve problems both independently and with involvement from teammates and leadership
Highly collaborative and able to work well with interdepartmental teams and initiatives
Grant and contract management skills, including budget monitoring
Valid Driver's License
Preferred
Master's degree or Doctorate degree in public health or behavioral health
Licensure with a health or behavioral health credentialing board, example: MSW, LPC, NP
48 months or more of experience managing/ leading suicide prevention efforts in a health or behavioral health system. This experience must include managing implementation of comprehensive models like the Zero Suicide framework across a behavioral health system
24 months or more experience developing and implementing suicide care in healthcare initiatives such as the Zero Suicide framework and the local, regional, state, or national level
36 months or more as a supervisor or manager of employees in a health, behavioral health, public health or crisis services system
