Responsibilities
Prepare conceptual, feasibility, and detailed cost estimates for capital projects
Develop quantity take-offs and pricing based on engineering deliverables
Analyze labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor pricing
Evaluate vendor and contractor bids and provide commercial assessments
Develop estimate bases, assumptions, and risk allowances
Support project reviews, funding approvals, and decision-making processes
Benchmark estimates against historical data and industry standards
Collaborate with project controls and engineering teams to align scope and costs
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in capital project estimating
Direct experience estimating petrochemical, refining, or heavy industrial facilities
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a relevant technical field
Strong knowledge of estimating methodologies, cost databases, and market trends
Experience with estimating software and tools
Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills
