The intern will assist in ensuring purchased parts meet quality standards through supplier audits, data analysis, and process improvements while acting as a liaison between suppliers and internal teams.

Review and recommend improvements on supplier evaluation and re-evaluation processes
Develop reports on supplier performance using available company tools
Develop a supplier audit process: forms, notifications, listings to monitor performance over time
Use the developed process to evaluate and audit local suppliers
Vendor Return process improvement
Incoming inspection process review and evaluation; provide recommendations for improvement
Qualification
Required
Majors in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a science degree
GPA desired: 3+
