Responsibilities
Produce business intelligence solutions by querying data repositories and generating periodic reports
Perform quality control mechanisms on data requests
Devises methods for identifying data patterns and trends in data sources
Assess data structures and how they can be used to produce desired reports
Researches new data sources and analytical tools, and recommends solutions
Draft new functions or applications in programming languages to conduct analyses
Create written reports and effectively communicates/presents results
Draft documentation needs to produce requirement documents and insights from analytics
Supervise a team of data and business analysts
Train new staff members on the Medicaid Datawarehouse
Qualification
Required
Seven years of experience in data visualization, and statistical models and data mining tools
An associate's degree may substitute for two years of general experience
A bachelor's degree may substitute for four years of general experience
A master's degree in data or computer science, informatics, economics, statistics, mathematics, or a related field, may substitute for one year of general experience
A Ph.D. in these fields may substitute for two years of general experience
Preferred
2 or more years of Medicaid experience
