Responsibilities

Input and maintain accurate data related to IGA activities, events, and partnerships
Assist in researching and analyzing potential focus areas for service projects and community events
Support the development of proposals and presentations for new partnerships and initiatives
Help build and maintain relationships with stakeholders including government agencies, community organizations, and businesses
Contribute to the planning and execution of events hosted or supported by the NYC IGA office
Assist in preparing briefs, reports, and other materials for meetings and presentations

Required

Residency: must be either a New York State resident, or currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited college or university in New York State
Education: must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program focused on Political Science, Public Administration, Urban Studies, or a related field. You must have at least Sophomore standing if you are enrolled in an undergraduate program

Interest in government affairs, community development, or public service
Prior experience with data entry or database management
Familiarity with New York City government structures and community organizations
Experience in event planning or project management
Demonstrated interest in civic engagement and public policy
