Responsibilities

Preliminary assessments
Concept creation
Leading designs with support from your peers, SME’s, and BIM designers
Internal and external problem resolution
Drawing and specification production
Customer and vendor accessibility
Leading security design efforts
Creating schematics, schedules, and plan drawings
Performing calculations for video storage, bandwidth usage, and power loads
Contributing to cross-discipline coordination
Identifying potential conflicts or inconsistencies with architectural, civil, electrical, and instrumentation teams

Required

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or an equivalent technical/scientific discipline
10+ years of professional experience in planning, designing, and commissioning physical security systems
In-depth knowledge of physical security systems, including video surveillance, access control, intercom, and intrusion detection systems
Experience with conducting vulnerability and risk assessments
Ability to evaluate emerging security technologies and analyze trade-offs
Strong understanding of network technologies and cybersecurity principles
Exceptional problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment and provide/receive constructive feedback
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 / Office, Bluebeam, and design collaboration tools

Preferred

Master's degree
Professional Engineering (PE) license
Professional security certifications (CISSP, CPP, PSP, CCNA, RCDD etc.)
Experience with Revit, ACC, BIM360, AutoCAD, and/or MicroStation
Experience leading projects and managing resources
Experience mentoring junior staff
Design Management experience
Design experience in data centers
Project management experience
Thorough knowledge of CSI design and construction specifications
Experience estimating and scheduling mid-to-large-scale project design effort
Knowledge of construction cost estimating for security implementation
