Responsibilities
Apply strong technical accounting expertise, including guidance on complex areas such as ASC 805
Evaluate, design, implement, and test internal controls to support a strong control environment
Review and validate accounting work prepared by others across multiple operating segments to ensure accuracy and consistency
Manage the monthly close as a project, including maintaining close checklists and coordinating deliverables across cross-functional teams
Support special projects, including M&A integration initiatives, as applicable
Drive deadlines and accountability through effective project management
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
CPA required
Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience
Experience with internal controls, including evaluation, design, implementation and testing
Demonstrated project management skills, particularly within close or integration environments
Preferred
Public accounting/audit background strongly preferred
M&A or integration experience is a plus
