Responsibilities
Serve as an SAP Basis Architect/Analyst building and supporting platforms, implementing SAP products, and establishing related policies and procedures for large-scale customer deployments
Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the SAP systems and assist in the planning, designing, and architecting of SAP systems across a variety of platforms and databases
Work with public IaaS providers (GCP, AWS, Azure)
Act as subject matter experience providing services in SAP Infrastructure with emphasis on SAP Basis, Security, Change Management, SAP Integration technologies, Memory Management, and Workload Management
Perform analysis of customers’ existing ERP setup and provide SAP solution recommendations and consulting services
Perform system sizing services for customers, OS/DB migrations using DMO to migrate large SAP systems, both traditional on-premise migrations and on-premise to cloud migrations, SAP S/4HANA conversions
Perform installation and configuration of Gateway/Fiori, Web Dispatcher, and SAP Cloud Connector
Oversee maintenance of SAP system integration within an SAP landscape
Install support packs, conduct upgrades, execute backups/recovery, system refresh, and troubleshooting
Conduct high availability failover setup of production systems, and monitor and tune performance of SAP systems
Work independently as a Service Integrator to gain insight and develop solutions to meet client business needs
Design, develop, and deploy applications on SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform), including integration with other SAP and non-SAP systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement end-to-end BTP solutions and recommend best practices for implementation
Work with clients to gather requirements, design, configure, and implement SAP Cloud ALM solutions, develop and implement best practices, and provide training and support
Utilize: SAP System Upgrades and Migrations, SAP System Performance Tuning and Troubleshooting, SAP Fiori System Administration, SAP Transport Management System (TMS), SAP Solution Manager (SolMan), SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP HANA Database Administration
Qualification
Required
Master's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master's degree)
one (1) year of experience as a SAP Basis Architect or related
One (1) year of experience must include utilizing SAP System Upgrades and Migrations
SAP System Performance Tuning and Troubleshooting
SAP Fiori System Administration
SAP Transport Management System (TMS)
SAP Solution Manager (SolMan)
SAP Cloud ALM
SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
SAP HANA Database Administration
