Responsibilities
Assisting with the conversion of industry standard software written in Visual C++ (Microsoft Foundation Class in Visual Studio 2017) to Flutter
Assisting with firmware development on Microchip PIC32 microprocessor
Assisting with universal electronics box design and documentation for a family of instruments
Updating Value Analysis and Value Engineering (VA/VE) tracking
Assisting with repair of in-house R&D laboratory instruments
Contributing to the creation of documentation packages for custom projects, as needed
Other tasks as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must be currently pursuing degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or similar
Competent with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Capable of lifting and carrying 25lbs
Minimum 3.0 GPA
Preferred
Exposure to or experience with C++ in Microsoft Visual Studio and/or Flutter/Dart in Microsoft Visual Studio Code
Exposure to or experience with MPLAB X IDE by Microchip
Relevant Coursework: Calculus I and/or II, Introductions to Computer Organization and Microprocessors, C Language, C++ Programming Language, Engineering Design with Computer Aided Design, Computer Tools for Electrical and Computer Engineers, Embedded Systems in C, Microprocessors in Digital Design
