Responsibilities

Lead Architectural Design: Take ownership of architectural decisions for new data pipelines and integrations, ensuring they are modular, secure, and highly performant
Drive New Integrations: Build and optimize complex integrations with various dental practice management systems and external vendor APIs
Agile Leadership: Work within an Agile environment to deliver well-engineered, scalable solutions that meet the evolving needs of our healthcare partners
Strategic Collaboration: Partner with Product Management to review and estimate complex projects, refine technical roadmaps, and translate business requirements into technical reality
Quality & Mentorship: Ensure all code adheres to industry best practices for security, testing, and maintainability. Provide guidance and peer reviews to elevate the team’s output
Continuous Evolution: Identify and implement platform enhancements and tools that proactively minimize issues and stabilize our integration ecosystem
Innovation: Stay at the forefront of emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure our tech stack remains modern and competitive

Qualification

Required

5+ years of experience in integration or backend engineering roles
Deep comfort with software design patterns and object-oriented design principles
Strong foundational knowledge and proven experience making high-level architectural decisions for distributed systems
5+ years of professional experience with Python and C#
Extensive experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL and MySQL)
Expert-level skills in building, securing, and maintaining REST APIs
Professional experience with AWS managed services and a strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines
Experience writing code for highly scalable interoperability platforms, preferably within healthcare or fintech
You are legally authorized to work permanently in the US without employer sponsorship
You have a bachelor's degree in anything
