Responsibilities
Design & Architecture: Create robust multidimensional OLAP cubes and semantic models that align with business requirements and data governance standards
Performance Tuning: Optimize cube design, partitioning strategies, and aggregation logic to ensure maximum query performance and minimal cloud compute costs
Data Integration: Build and maintain data pipelines to ingest data from cloud warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) and data lakes into the Kyvos environment
Semantic Layer Management: Establish a 'Single Source of Truth' by defining consistent metrics, hierarchies, and calculated members (MDX/DAX) within the Kyvos semantic layer
BI Collaboration: Integrate Kyvos with front-end tools like Tableau, Power BI, Excel, or Looker to ensure seamless data delivery and visualization
Security & Governance: Implement row-level and column-level security (RLS/CLS) to protect sensitive data while maintaining compliance with internal data policies
Qualification
Required
Hands-on experience with Kyvos Insights (cube design, relationship mapping, and semantic modeling)
Strong understanding of OLAP concepts (MOLAP/HOLAP), Star/Snowflake schemas, and multidimensional modeling
Proficiency in SQL is mandatory
Familiarity with modern data stacks like Snowflake, Databricks, AWS S3/Redshift, or Google BigQuery
Basic scripting knowledge in Python or Java for automation and custom API integrations
Experience configuring connections between Kyvos and major BI platforms (Power BI, Tableau)
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field
3–5+ years of experience in BI development, data engineering, or OLAP modeling
Preferred
Background in Hadoop/Spark environments
DAMA Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or relevant Cloud Data Engineer certifications
Experience working in SAFe or Scrum environments to deliver iterative data products
