Senior Propulsion Technician II, First Shift
Relativity Space is building rockets to meet the growing demand for launch capacity and to advance science and exploration. The Senior Propulsion Technician will be involved in the fabrication and assembly of the Aeon-R engine, contributing to manufacturing operations while providing feedback for improvements.

Responsibilities
Fabrication and assembly of the Aeon-R engine
Scaling manufacturing operations
Interpreting work instructions and engineering drawings
Providing feedback on necessary improvements
Supporting in-house processes such as precision cleaning, hydrostatic proof testing, flow testing, and engine assembly
Qualification
Required
Experience working on engines, with a primary focus on engine components
Familiarity with architecture of a Gas Generator cycle engine and all associated nomenclature
Experience with high pressure fluid system development and testing such as hydrostatic proof, pneumatic leak check, and flow testing
Familiarity with electrical and mechanical system integration
Ability to read and interpret work instructions, and engineering drawings
Strong technical and interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Familiarity with 5S manufacturing principles
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles
Experience transitioning from development into high-volume production
