Supply Chain Coordinator / 1st Shift
Danfoss is a company that engineers solutions to increase machine productivity and reduce energy consumption. They are seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to support the supply chain team with customer order requests and assist in various projects related to inventory management, purchasing, and customer service.

Responsibilities
Track inventory levels and manage stock to ensure adequate supply without overstocking
Release purchase orders from established suppliers
Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery
Analyze and resolve blocked invoices to increase prompt accounts payable to suppliers
Release production orders in response to low inventory and customer requirements
Process inventory-related transactions and reconcile discrepancies
Assist Customer Service with order updates for past due and expedited orders
Support the Key Performance Indicators of On-time delivery, Days of Inventory, Past due reduction, Contribution Margin and freight cost reduction
Vacation coverage as needed
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management
This position requires the use of information or access to technology which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR/EAR. ITAR/EAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
Preferred
Experience of PC tools including internet, email, MS Office and scanning
Understanding of Supply Chain Topics
Comfortable in a manufacturing environment
