Responsibilities
Design, develop, and support full-stack applications using Java, Python, and AWS
Contribute to application architecture and long-term technology roadmaps
Build and maintain APIs, cloud services, and infrastructure
Partner with product owners and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Develop unit tests and support CI/CD pipelines
Conduct peer code reviews and mentor less experienced engineers
Support QA, UAT, and Production releases, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis
Promote Agile development practices and engineering best standards
Qualification
Required
6+ years of professional software engineering experience
Strong hands-on experience with Java, Python, AWS, SQL, and Git
Experience building modern CI/CD pipelines
Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform and/or AWS CDK
Understanding of cloud security best practices
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across teams
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Preferred
Experience with Apache Spark or PySpark
Familiarity with AWS Glue and data orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow
Experience with application observability and monitoring
Background in financial services or other regulated environments
