The intern will gain hands-on experience by collaborating with cross-functional teams and contributing to various projects that align with the association’s mission and goals.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Events team to support the seamless execution of departmental initiatives and programs
Develop proficiency in industry-leading event technologies while learning the standard procedures and best practices used to produce large-scale events
Support staff in various administrative and operational tasks, contributing to project milestones and helping move team goals forward
Assist with data entry and cleanup within the events registration system to ensure attendee records are accurate and up-to-date
Help prepare onsite materials, including organizing badges, lanyards, and registration packets for shipment to event venues
Contribute to special projects as assigned

Required

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail required
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
A self-starter and team player who can work both independently and collaboratively
Strong work ethic and positive attitude; someone who is energetic, articulate, and personable
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Proficient in navigating multiple digital platforms and quick to master new internal systems or software tools
Strong 'customer-first' attitude, focused on providing clear, empathetic, and timely responses via email and direct interaction
Active enrollment in an undergraduate program (rising junior or senior) or graduate program at the time of internship
