Supply Chain Transformation Intern (Summer 2026)
Panasonic North America is pioneering technologies that make a positive impact, and they are seeking a Supply Chain Transformation Intern to join their team. Responsibilities
This internship will start May 18th and run through August 7th with a high potential to extend into the Fall
Under the direction of the Director of Supply Chain Strategy, support the focused integration of AI by evaluating, identifying and prioritizing AI and Agentic operations opportunities within PNA Supply Chain
Agentic AI represent significant productivity gains for Supply Chain by automating repetitive manual processes currently executed by multiple team members within PNA Logistics
Develop project saving analysis and a business case to position AI for proper investment needs
Provide analysis report, identify opportunities and provide solutions to the problem areas
Review current process engineering program to identify AI/process automation opportunities
Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to establish baseline productivity levels and compare against future productivity gains
Create business presentations to support project and AI integration needs and deliverables
Work closely with Senior Management to infuse AI into our supply-chain/logistics culture at Panasonic
Deliver a project report-out to Executive and Senior Management at the conclusion of the internship
Under the direction of the Director of Supply Chain Strategy, support a project focused on implementing the Supply Chain IT systems Modernization Project supporting PNA Logistics and evaluating agentic process controls to improve the solutions being implemented by PNA Logistics
Complete a system study and GAP analysis with the support of logistics, IT, and business support functions
Provide comparative analysis of the current solutions being implemented and the AI inputs that show potential for optimization
Create business presentations to support project needs and deliverables
Provide recommendations based upon findings of the project study
Deliver a project report-out to Executive and Senior Management at the conclusion of the project
Shadow key functional partners within Procurement, Trade, IT, HR, Finance and other shared service functions that compliment Logistics
Qualification
Required
Must be currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree throughout the entirety of the internship
Currently pursuing a MBA (ideally with a concentration in AI or Supply Chain Management)
The ability to conduct deep-dive GAP analyses and comparative studies of current IT solutions versus AI-driven potential
Proficiency in creating project saving analyses and high-level presentations to justify AI investment needs
Strong applied AI skillset complimented by Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel) and a foundational understanding of logistics infrastructure like WMS and TMS
A 'can-do' spirit and the verbal/written communication skills necessary to influence our supply-chain culture and present to executive leadership
