Strategy & Planning Manager - Chief of Staff for Engineering

Responsibilities
Serve as a strategic partner and key operational facilitator to engineering leadership, supporting aligned teams in both day-to-day operations and long-term initiatives
Lead and support the development and execution of strategic plans that align with business goals and engineering priorities
Facilitate performance management, talent planning, and organizational alignment by leveraging data and reports from tools such as Workday People Insights
Design, create and collaborate on development of annual and long-range people strategy including workforce planning, training, talent programs, and employee engagement in support of strategic business objectives
Manage cross-functional initiatives, operational cadence, and business planning to ensure effective execution of engineering projects
Provide leadership with perspective and insight to bring clarity, alignment, and focus across the engineering team
Coordinate communication and collaboration among executives, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to drive strategy deployment and monitor progress
Drive transformation and change within the organization by fostering accountability and a results-oriented culture
Support talent planning discussions, including criticality assessments, succession planning, and resource allocation
Collaborate with senior leadership to identify priorities, risks, and opportunities for growth and innovation within the engineering function
Work as a trusted advisor to all people managers and leaders to provide clear calls to action, support, and resources to execute on our strategy
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree and 8 years plus of experience in strategy and planning, chief of staff, technical background, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret data and identify actionable insights
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to influence leaders at all levels
Strong presentation skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Proficiency in productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Powerpoint)
