Responsibilities

Provides coordination to the day-to-day clinic operations of the Salem Primary Care
Monitors scheduling templates, appointment utilization, and provider availability
Provides guidance to clinic staff, offering feedback to ensure high-quality services that improve patient outcomes
Conducts performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to direct report staff
Leads recruitment, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training of direct report staff
Creates and manages staff schedules, including coverage planning for direct report staff
Responsible for ensuring the medical team is working collectively to create whole person-centered care model
Develops training plans for direct report staff by identifying individual and collective staff training
Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to ensure day-to-day operations are optimal, identifies and addresses any challenges and creates plans to monitor and track outcomes/progress
Responsible for ensuring a trauma-focused work environment; including the ability to demonstrate an understanding of the historic implications of intergenerational trauma with regards to the AI/AN population
Ensures compliance with workplace policies and employment regulations
Ensures adequate staffing, supplies, and resources
Performs a variety of other duties as assigned by the Executive
Supervises and provides day-to-day direction for assigned
Completes performance evaluations, delivers disciplinary action, hires and terminates staff as
Ensures the hiring, training, promoting, assigning, disciplining and discharging of employees are in accordance with Tribal Law, including without limitation, the Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO)
Assures staff adherence to all policies and procedures, work, safety and administrative rule, Tribal Law and State Regulations
Serves as a mentor, as requested, for Tribal career development

Required

Requires a Bachelors in a health care or Human Services Master's Degree in health care or Human Services field preferred, or equivalent combination of education training and experience
Requires three (3) years of work experience in health care delivery or social services environment and two (2) additional years of experience working health care supervisor setting
Must have a working knowledge of the Privacy Act/HIPPA and its
Must have knowledge and experience working within a trauma-informed system of
Requires working knowledge and proficiency in use of office equipment and computer software such as Microsoft products
Must have the ability to resolve conflict while utilizing conflict management
Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, business and telephone
Must have the ability to work at times with minimal
Must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and record-keeping
Must have the ability to respond courteously and tactfully to complaints and client requests, and to maintain confidentiality
Knowledge of and sensitivity to Native American culture required

Preferred

Master's Degree in health care or Human Services field preferred
