Responsibilities
This position is performed by an experienced professional and will undertake difficult research, design and software development assignments within a software functional area or product line, and provides direct input to project plans, schedules and methodology in the development of cross-functional software products under the guidance of more senior members of the squad
This position performs software design - typically across multiple components; is developing the skills of mentoring more junior members of the team and works with others to talk to users/customers and translates their requests into solutions
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience (Java, Postgres)
AWS - EC2, ECS, SQS, EventBridge, CloudWatch
Experience re-platforming/re-engineering projects (focus on resiliency)
Micro service and authentication experience
Experience taking SQL statements and moving into Java
Experience moving away from Oracle
5+ years of Software Engineering experience
BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience required
