HR Administrator

Universal Scientific Industrial Co., Ltd. is actively looking for a highly organized and talented Human Resources Administrator to support HR activities at their Milpitas, CA location. The role involves managing day-to-day HR operations, focusing on benefits and learning and development support, while serving as a key contact for employees regarding benefit programs and compliance with HR policies.

Responsibilities

Support recruiting and staffing activities, including job postings, interview coordination, and candidate communications
Assist with employee relations matters, including responding to employee inquiries and supporting issue resolution
Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
Assist with the development, implementation, and maintenance of HR policies and procedures
Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding processes
Maintain accurate, confidential employee records and HR documentation
Assist supervisors and managers with performance management processes and documentation
Support HR audits, compliance reviews, and required reporting
Serve as a resource to employees and managers regarding HR policies and procedures
Perform other HR-related duties as assigned
Provide administrative support for employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and retirement plans
Assist with employee communications related to benefits and open enrollment
Respond to routine employee benefit inquiries and escalate complex issues as appropriate
Support accurate benefit record maintenance in the HRIS system
Coordinate with vendors and brokers as directed
Support learning and development initiatives, including training coordination and logistics
Assist with scheduling, tracking, and documentation of employee training programs
Support onboarding and compliance-related training efforts
Assist with learning management system (LMS) updates and recordkeeping, if applicable

Required

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working as an HR Generalist or equivalent
Knowledge of employee benefits programs and HR compliance practices
Advanced organizational and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to keep sensitive information confidential
Extremely detail oriented with a strong ability to manage a high priority project and confidential information
Passionate about company culture and the employee experience
Flexibility, team orientation, ability and willingness to learn
Ability to multi-task and prioritize
Familiar with HRIS Systems (ADP)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
Problem-solving and Detail-Oriented
