Responsibilities
Design, configure, and maintain batch job schedules using enterprise scheduling tools
Manage job dependencies, triggers, calendars, priorities, and execution windows to meet SLAs
Perform day-to-day administration, configuration, and troubleshooting of Redwood RunMyJobs
Monitor batch job execution, analyze failures or delays, and resolve issues promptly
Support application upgrades, installations, and batch workload migrations
Troubleshoot CI/CD and migration-related batch incidents
Provide on-call support for critical batch failures
Optimize batch schedules for performance and efficient resource utilization
Apply patches, security updates, and configuration changes to batch scheduling tools
Collaborate with project, operations, and application teams to ensure seamless batch integration
Qualification
Required
6+ years of experience managing enterprise batch scheduling tools (configuration, patching, upgrades)
2–3 years of hands-on experience with Redwood RunMyJobs (administration, configuration, troubleshooting)
Strong experience with application upgrades and installations
Experience defining, scheduling, and monitoring batch jobs
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams
Preferred
Experience with tools such as IBM Tivoli Work Scheduler, Control-M, or ActiveBatch
Working knowledge of Linux and Windows environments
Scripting and automation experience for batch scheduling and monitoring
