Mid LevelMichigan Medicine is seeking a temporary full-stack software developer to develop a web-based platform and secure data server aimed at using generative artificial intelligence tools to identify and mitigate bias in medical trainee evaluations. The role involves creating a platform for faculty evaluations and ensuring secure data storage as part of a research project funded by the University of Michigan Academic Innovation Fund.

Development and creation of a web platform that securely integrates generative AI tools to enable use by UMMS faculty in real time
Establish a secure server and database for the secure storage of clinical evaluation data
Develop industry-standard performance tests to ensure long-term functionality of the web platform
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Expertise with a web development programming language (e.g. JavaScript, HTML)
Experience with database management, server management, and networking
Experience with software development language Python to integrate generative AI APIs specific to the University of Michigan (e.g. UM-GPT API)
Preferred
Experience with integrating generative AI tools
Strong inter-personal skills and experience working with multidisciplinary teams
Interest in medical and education-based projects
