Responsibilities
Reviews purchasing data
Prepares internal statements and one time reports
Prepares vendor score cards and information related to that vendor
Analyzes and documents options for procurement of materials
Develops detailed purchasing reporting
Recommends changes to the acquisition processes as needed
Tracks on time shipments
Develops a process to standardize the creation of product codes as needed
Gathers information from our systems and IS/IT department
Analyzes current inventory buying programs
Works with transportation department as needed
Evaluates and compares vendors
Develops SOP for all departments
Functions as the lead for software rollouts
Analyzing terms and rebates
Performs other duties as required
Qualification
Required
Minimum of a bachelor of arts in finance, accounting, or other business major
2 to 4 years of experience in related field
Working knowledge and proficiency in the use of computer and business related software, including Microsoft applications (Excel, Word and Outlook)
Must have a sound understanding of finance and accounting principles
