Responsibilities

The Scheduling Specialist is responsible for warm accurate scheduling and financially related data collection prior to a patient arriving at the facility
Maintains a thorough knowledge of scheduling imaging modalities and preps and insurance requirements to facilitate precertification, referral and authorization
Acts as a resource in department and offices; sometimes preparing “help fact sheets” or training

Qualification

Customer service experiencePatient access knowledgeCommunication skillsTeam collaborationProblem-solving skills

Required

Must possess a high school diploma or GED
1 year experience in customer service and/or Patient Access
