Event Marketing Manager

The Marketing Manager, Events & Conferences will lead the strategy, planning, and execution of regional and national conferences, enhancing brand visibility and fostering engagement with healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive events strategy aligned with company goals and brand positioning
Manage and prioritize the conference calendar for National and Regional presence in collaboration with sales and marketing teams in alignment with US strategy
Provide recommendations for sponsorship opportunities and conference presence that maximize engagement and visibility
Establish measurable goals for engagement and lead generation across all events
Maintain responsibility for managing event budgets and ensuring adherence to company spending allowances
Oversee all logistics of events, including venue selection, booth setup, branding, sponsorship deliverables, and attendee registration
Ensure the smooth execution of event logistics, including travel arrangements, AV setup, pre-event communications with leadership and attendees, and on-site operations
Manage the selection, contracting, and relationships with vendors, societies, and distributors to maintain high standards across events
Ensure vendor partnerships meet compliance, service, and budget expectations
Support local sales teams in organizing targeted awareness events for physicians and patients to align with sales objectives
Establish event request and approval process, ensuring proper venue selection and on-site logistical management
Develop 'Event in a Box' solutions to streamline local event execution, including content, signage, and invitations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, and legal) to ensure compliance and event success
Build and nurture strong working relationships with sales and marketing teams to ensure event strategies are aligned with broader business objectives
Coordinate with the Professional Education team to incorporate proctor engagement in regional and national conferences
Establish clear communication channels to ensure timely information sharing with internal stakeholders and event participants
Ensure that compliance standards are met for all events and communicate requirements to local teams as needed
Prepare and submit event compliance reports in a timely manner
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus
5+ years of event management experience, particularly within the medical device or healthcare industry
Strong understanding of the regulatory environment and industry-specific compliance requirements
Proven track record of successful event planning and execution, particularly at a regional or national level
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships
Strong organizational, prioritization, and budgeting skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment, and navigate changing priorities and last-minute pivots
Demonstrated strong emotional and situational intelligence, adapting communication and approach to diverse personalities and dynamic environments
Physically capable of lifting 30 lbs. and standing for extended periods while maintaining performance and attention to detail
Ability to work in alignment with East Coast business hours
