Responsibilities
Analyze accounting workflows, data, and controls to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
Develop financial and operational analyses to support accounting decisions and initiatives
Translate accounting and business requirements into clear analytical insights and documentation
Design, build, and maintain financial dashboards, reports, and KPIs
Analyze trends, variances, and anomalies in financial and operational data
Support management reporting related to close performance, reconciliations, and compliance
Partner with accounting teams to streamline month-end close and routine accounting processes
Assist in evaluating and enhancing internal controls and documentation
Support automation initiatives related to reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting
Act as a liaison between accounting, IT, and external system vendors
Support ERP and accounting system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements
Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT), documentation, and training
Work closely with accounting, FP&A, tax, audit, and operations teams
Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and translate needs into actionable solutions
Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Support internal and external audits through data analysis and reporting
Assist with SOX, policy documentation, and compliance-related initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or related field
3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Financial Analyst, or similar role
Strong understanding of accounting processes and financial reporting concepts
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data modeling)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
Preferred
Experience working within an accounting or finance department
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
