Responsibilities
Prepares tissue specimens for diagnosis by Pathologist
Works with Pathology residents, fellows and attendings to meet the needs of the clinicians and patients
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's degree in applied clinical science with a course in Histology or an equivalent of training and experience is necessary
Certification or eligibility for certification as Histotechnologist (HTL) or Histotechnician (HT) by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists
Preferred
Two years experience in a Histology laboratory is desirable
