Responsibilities
Develop and integrate electrical conceptual drawings into complete project documents using AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM software
Collaborate with engineers and architects to gather design specifications, calculations, and project requirements
Review and revise drawings based on feedback from project managers and design teams
Ensure all drawings comply with applicable standards, codes, and regulatory requirements
Maintain accurate and organized documentation for all project drawings and records
Assist with preparation of material lists and project cost estimates
Conduct occasional site visits to verify measurements and collect design data
Uphold high standards of quality, professionalism, and teamwork in all aspects of work
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree or technical certificate in drafting, design, or a related field
Proven professional experience as a draftsman
Minimum of 5 years of electrical drafting and design experience
Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit (BIM experience is a plus)
Strong understanding of architectural and engineering principles
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
Familiarity with industry regulations and building codes
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
Solid mathematical and analytical abilities
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Strong time management and follow-through
