Lead/StaffArkhya Tech. Inc. is seeking a Lead Solutions Architect for a contract position focused on GCP Data Solutions. The role involves data validation, architectural mapping, and providing strategic advice to ensure optimal service alignment on the Google Cloud Platform.

Responsibilities
Data Validation : Identify and validate data tables at the source level and define required extracts to support POCs or MVPs
Platform Alignment : Determine the optimal services/high level architecture on GCP
Approach Validation : Support the POC team to conduct rapid technical spikes or small-scale development to prove the approach
Strategic Advice : As needed, provide "Build vs. Buy" recommendations based on Con Edison’s existing tech stack and time-to-value constraints
Go/No-Go : Confirm decision to move forward to MVP
Architectural Mapping: Design the full data flow - from ingestion and transformation to the final consumption layer for the end user (logical, no source to target mapping required at this step)
Component Integration: Document how technical components, APIs, and integrations will interact within the GCP environment
Cross-Platform Orchestration : Ensure seamless connectivity between Azure, GCP, or on-premise systems as required by the specific use case
Qualification
Required
Deep experience with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Vertex AI, Dataflow, GCS). Professional certification in GCP
Proven ability to design and deliver an MVP within a 6–8 week duration
Strong ability to perform data discovery and understand complex table schemas at the source level
Preferred
Familiarity with heavy-asset industries and tools like Maximo is a significant plus
